First day of fall! I still don’t have much memory of summer, but we had it because the winemakers are busy picking and crushing grapes, making that elixir without which we would not have our wine society. Everything seems to be a week or two later than usual, and as one winemaker said, “We might be making a lot of ice wine this year.” (more…)

Cashmere Riverside Center
We continue our exploration of various wine grapes being grown in Washington State. Joanne Saliby will join new members Mary Henning and Barbara Johnson in presenting Sangiovese, and will be presenting wines from Italy, California and Washington State.
The Registration Deadline is Monday, September 13th, 2010. Attendance will be limited to 68.
