Have you noticed?

I’m surprised there hasn’t been a major news report about this, but perhaps the scientific community is keeping quiet about it for now. Surely you, as I, have noticed that the universe is speeding up and time as we know it is slipping away at an alarming rate. Didn’t you notice that September flew by, and now October is doing the same? At this rate we will be able to prepare one meal to serve both Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner at the same time. Meeting at 6:30 pm, bonus tasting afterwards.

Wine Spectator just released their top 100 Wines and many Washington wines made the list. We are celebrating the Washington Wine industry by tasting some of the wines that made that list!!

Food
Bring hors d’ oeuvres to share.

We will be pouring:

  1. Bernard Griffin Columbia Valley Reisling (2008) – #66 on the list rated 90 pts.
  2. Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon, Canoe Ridge (2006) – #38 on the list rated 92 pts.
  3. Efeste Ciedleigh Syrah (2006) – #36 on the list rated 93 pts.
  4. Rulo Columbia Valley Syrah (2006) – from the Eno Society cellar rated 87 pts.
  5. Spring Valley Uriah Merlot Blend (2006) – #60 on the list rated 93 pts.

Doors will open at 6:30 pm for champagne punch and socializing.

Harvest Dinner

Set aside Saturday, October 24th at 6 PM for our annual Harvest Dinner at the Wenatchee Country Club and will feature a six course dinner with four high quality wines. The cost is $58 per member and $62 for each guest. We are limiting it to the first 56 people who sign upThis is going to be a great event and we look forward to seeing you there!
